Please read the information below which gives details of our Pupil Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.
The Department for Education (DfE) provides additional funding, known as the Pupil Premium to support specific groups of pupils aged between 5 and 16 years, who are considered vulnerable to possible underachievement. These include pupils who are eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) or who have been eligible for them any time during the last 6 years, those who are looked after by the Local Authority and children of armed forces personnel.
The funding is received by the school annually and is allocated in a variety of ways in order to improve pupils’ attainment and progress and to help overcome barriers to learning. All schools are required to report on the amount of funding received and how it is used.
