Welcome to the class page for Puffins class.
We are a class of 26 Year 1 and 2 children. We are taught by Miss Boyagis and Mrs Harvey. Our teaching assistant is Mrs Broomhead.
We have PE on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Spellings are on a Monday - please be sure to bring your sheet in.
Week Beginning 20th March
Miss Boyagis' group will be reviewing the sounds that we have learnt so far.
Mrs Harvey's group will be reviewing the sounds that we have already learnt.
Year 1 are starting their Place Value (within 50) topic and year 2 are continuing their Multiplication and Division topic.
Year 1s will exploring tens and ones.
Year 2s will be looking at the 10 times table.
This week we will begin continue looking at The Princess and the Pea, thinking about the story from the Pea's perspective.
Science (Animals and their Habitats): This week we will explore pond and woodland habitats.
History (Houses and Homes): We will explore Victorian kitchens and how these were different to the kitchens we have now.
