Uniform Information

An alternative and local uniform provider: Chantal Gould Image and Identity, Unit 7 Paxton Business Centre, Whittle Road, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP2 7YR.  Contact Number: 01722 416648.

Children at our school are required to wear a uniform. This helps present a school identity, stops any fashion issues and strengthens the children’s sense of community. Regulations are relaxed but an emphasis is placed on cleanliness and tidiness. Parents are requested to ensure that their child’s hair is tidy and out of his/her face. While we recognise that hair is a great way to display fashion and individuality, hair needs to be appropriately styled for school.

The school colour is green combined with grey, black and white. When buying clothes for school please consider:

  • Ease for changing for P.E. or swimming.
  • Lace up shoes are only for suitable for children who can tie their own laces.
  • Polo shirts are easier for children to take on and off than long sleeved shirts with buttons.
  • The more a child can do for him/herself, the quicker they will gain a sense of independence.

Most uniform can be purchased in high street stores and supermarkets. Items with the school logo (marked * below) can be purchased in the full range of sizes online at https://www.schooltrendsonline.com/uniform/DintonCEPrimarySchoolSP35HW This site also provides the option of other items of school wear with the school logo. We also have a small amount of second hand uniform that may be purchased for a donation.
