Bad weather provision

We try our utmost to keep our school open when we have adverse weather. Any decision to fully close, partially close or have a different arrival time is based primarily on the safety of pupils and staff travelling to school, as well the safety of the site/numbers of staff able to support children.

How will I know if arrangements for the school day are going to change?

•  An email will be sent to parents to say that the school is closed/partially closed/late start.
• There will be an announcement on the school website (homepage- in the news section at the bottom of the page).
• An announcement will also be made on the school Facebook page.

We only make announcements if we are going to close or there is a change to the normal day. 

We aim to make the decision around 7.30am.
