Helicopter visit

Term 1 ended with a lot of excitement. We were incredibly lucky to welcome a helicopter and crew from QinetiQ to our school. We watched the helicopter land on our school field, which was incredibly exciting. The children had the opportunity to ask the pilot questions and find out how the helicopter works, examine the inside the aircraft and learn about the science that allows helicopters to fly. We would like to say a huge thank you to the team from QinetiQ for making our last day of term so interesting and so special.
